Hello Authors,
We’ve been asked to collaborate with a local Seattle artist, Joy Hagen, who is applying to The City of Seattle’s call for a mural at the NW African American museum (corner of 23rd & Massachusetts).
Harriett and I met with her a few days ago to talk about our involvement. At this time the application process requires her to collect information about how each of us is tied to the Central Area. As she continues the process over the next few weeks she will want to meet with some or all of us as she incorporates our stories, quotes and the quilt into her art piece.
